Meet Our Staff
Kathy Werner
Co-Founder
Kathy is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and a major in Accounting. After being in the banking, insurance and accounting industries for over 30 years, she is able to assist her clients with a more holistic approach to their financial needs and wealth management. In 2017, she became an Enrolled Agent which allowed her to be an advocate for her clients in dealing with the IRS and the State of Hawaii Department of Taxation. In late 2022, she joined her eldest daughter to co-found Werner Financial Services to help their clients reach their financial goals and dreams. She actively works towards providing financial literacy to the communities she serves.
Renee "Mamo" Werner
Co-Founder
Mamo, co-founded Werner Financial Services in late 2022 to provide financial education to individuals and small business owners. Mamo has been a practicing Enrolled Agent from 2019 and has over 11 years of tax preparation and accounting experience. She has specialized in working with small business owners, in a wide range of industries and sizes, to maximize their accounting systems, which assists with making better financial decisions and implementing tax saving strategies. Her holistic approach to planning your financial future has been a driving factor in the growth and success of clients. In addition to helping clients with accounting and business strategies, she also assists with Federal and State income taxes, General Excise taxes, tax resolution, and small business payroll services.
